This is the lowering kit for the FirstBIKE balance bike. It allows the lowest seat position to go from 13.5" to 12". This will allow for most kids to start riding the FirstBIKE from about 22 months old.

Must purchase for smaller toddlers
We used this lowering kit for our 2 year old when he was standing only 81 cm tall. He rides comfortably and confidently over any terrain. Don't be shy getting the big kid bike for your smaller toddler because this lower kit is the perfect solution.

Good for tiny 2 year olds
My daughter's inseam is 13.5" and she can reach perfectly with the seat down and the drop kit. It does make the rear triangle a little wobly, but by the time she'll be heavy enough, she'll also be tall enough to take the lowering kit off. Super easy to install. Even with the brake.
